And the Oscar goes to... GAEA
and to Greek Olive oil
Gaea’s extra virgin olive oils shined in this year’s
Oscar ceremony since the two Extra Virgin Olive Oils
DOP Sitia Crete and DOP Kalamata, where chosen by the
organizers of the ceremony to be given as a gift to
the 300 VIP actors and film producers that were invited
to attend this special night.
The healthy Greek Mediterranean diet is an emerging
trend worldwide and it seems that the Hollywood stars
are among the first to adopt it as they are very conscious
of their good health and appearance.
The love that Hollywood is developing
towards Mediterranean diet and Gaea’s products was also
shown in the blockbuster movie “The Holliday”. When
Cameron Diaz arrives at the small village in England,
she visits a deli store and among the bare essentials
for the first night with Jude Law (a bottle of wine,
a baguette etc) she buys a jar of Gaea green olives
as well.
So although there were no Greek films
or actors among the nominees, Gaea and Greece won the
Oscar for superior taste and healthy lifestyle.
